FEFA has an internal research and consulting unit, the FEFA Institute, which strives toward the following goals:

1. Improving, modernizing and enriching the course substance, programmes and processes at the undergraduate, graduate as well as doctoral level studies

2. This will be accomplished by constant application of cutting-edge research;Inclusion of students into the research and carrying out of projects, in particular masters and doctoral candidates

3. Meeting the needs of business and public administration through applied and tailor-made research, as well as through management training, life-long-learning and skills upgrading .
