Studies on FEFA

Undergraduate Studies

The first and second year are common for all courses. Lectures in all courses lasts one semester, excluding foreign languages which are taught in all semesters. During each semester, the students have three subjects and two foreign languages. At least twice a week, students have direct contacts with their teachers: during lectures, exercises, seminars, forums and laboratory work. In addition to these formal contacts, the students also have one-to-one consultations at their disposal. FEFA also adopted an OPEN DOOR POLICY, which enables its students to contact the Faculty academic staff directly as well. The assessment of all subjects is based on the accumulation of ETCS credits throughout the year, taking into account all students' activities during instruction. In this way, the so-called classical method of passing examinations is avoided, while the applied system encourages continuous work, analytical thinking and the acquisition of lasting knowledge, high competence, and self-reliance. Credits are accumulated by passing two compulsory knowledge tests during the semester, writing essays, analyzing the databases, preparing presentations and elaborating group projects.
