FEFA specializes in the study of competitiveness, maintaining an affiliate relationship with the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at the Harvard Business School. FEFA has published prof. Michael Porter's textbook On Competition in Serbian language and uses it in its coursework.

Two FEFA professors are members of the National Competitiveness Council of Serbia - Goran Pitic and Nebojsa Savic, whilst prof. Ana Trbovich consults on competitiveness as part of USAID Serbia Competitiveness Project implemented by Booz Allen Hamilton.

FEFA conducts research on competitiveness and has published several research papers on this topic in Serbian language (for more, please see here)
