Profesor

Marina Šestović je docent na FEFA za užu naučnu oblast Ekonomija, gde predaje Principi ekonomije: Makroekonomija. Osnovno obrazovanje i Šestu beogradsku gimnaziju (prirodno‑matematički smer) završila je u Beogradu, oba puta kao Vukovac. Na FEFA je stekla diplome osnovnih i master studija sa odličnim prosečnim ocenama (9,9 i 9,7), a doktorirala je ekonomiju na Univerzitetu Singidunum. Svoj profesionalni profil dodatno je unapredila kroz program obuke na Harvard Kenedi školi u Bostonu (SAD), gde je završila Public Financial Management in a Changing World.

Svoju akademsku karijeru započela je kao saradnik u nastavi, pa potom i kao asistent na FEFA (od 2009. godine). Paralelno je doprinosila oblastima od nacionalnog značaja, radeći kao ekonomska savetnica državnom sekretaru za finansijski sektor i savetnica za eksternu komunikaciju sa međunarodnim organizacijama i analizu budžeta u Ministarstvu finansija Republike Srbije. Potom je nastavila svoj rad kao ekonomska savetnica u kabinetu generalnog direktora i predsednika izvršnog odbora Agencije za osiguranje i finansiranje izvoza Republike Srbije.

Marina se potom pridružila nemačkoj međunarodnoj razvojnoj saradnji GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), najpre učestvujući u regionalnom projektu Upravljanje javnim finansijama u Jermeniji, a zatim je šest godina radila kao menadžer projekat u GIZ Srbija na projektu Reformе javnih finansija. Učestvovala je u brojnim profesionalnim programima i istraživačkim inicijativama, među kojima su: SAIFA projekat Serbian Artificial Inteligence Factory Antenna (Horizon Europe, br. 101263280); Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja (projekat br. 47028); FP7 – Odgovorno istraživanje i inovacije RRI Tools (Evropska komisija, br. 612393); TEMPUS projekti (Univerzitet u Valensiji i Pragu; Policy Association for an Open Society). Takođe, doprinosila je i procesu pristupanja Srbije Evropskoj uniji kroz aktivnosti povezane sa pregovaračkim poglavljima 30 i 32. Autorka je i koautorka 23 naučna rada. Govori engleski i francuski, uz osnovno znanje nemačkog i španskog jezika.
